How to get Bat leather in V Rising Oakveil Update

     You awaken in your castle’s hall, the moonlight glinting off your iron tools, and realize your Draculian drip is missing the perfect leathery touch. To craft your Bat Leather armor and bags you’ll need to hunt down Giant Bats, build the right Refinement station, and refine those hides into supple leather fit for a vampire lord. Follow this path and your gear will shine under any moon.

 

 

 

Where to find giant bats

 

     Head north of Dunley Farmlands into Dracula’s Demise or trek all the way east to the Ruins of Mortium, where red tier 2 Rift Incursions summon level 80+ Giant Bats in swarms. Keep your Eye of Mortium handy to track the event, then dive into the crimson rift, slaying every bat you see until your inventory bulges with Bat Hide.

 

 

 

Unlock rift incursions

 

     Progress the main quest until you earn the Eye of Mortium blueprint, build the Eye of Mortium in your castle under Dominance production, and monitor the map for the red tier 2 incursion timer. When the Rift appears, plunge into the swirling portal and hunt down those Giant Bats for Bat Hide.

 

 

 

Beat the Behemoth

 

     Before you can craft leather, you need the recipe - defeat Gorecrusher the Behemoth in the Cursed Forest to unlock Bat Leather at the Advanced Tannery. Dodge his charge, circle behind his club, and burst his spectral twin with your ultimate to claim the recipe and his soul shard.

 

 

 

Build an advanced tannery

 

     Once you have the recipe, return to your castle’s build menu under Production / Refinement and place the Advanced Tannery. Make sure it’s powered by a nearby hearth and fed with Crystalline Flux so it runs day and night refining hides into leather.

 

 

 

Refine bat hide

 

     Load your Bat Hide into the Advanced Tannery along with a handful of Pristine Leather, pull the lever, and watch gears grind those raw hides into glowing strips of Bat Leather. Each refinement batch yields enough leather for armor pieces or a handy Bat Leather Bag to hold all your silver coins.

 

 

     With pockets full of Bat Leather and a stylish leather bag on your back, your castle upgrades can’t wait. You’ve hunted the shadows, faced the Behemoth, and mastered refinement—now go forth and drape yourself in true vampire finery in V Rising Oakveil Update.
