Get ready to dive into this revamped biome and discover all its new wonders!
Journey to the Blackmire
Your adventure kicks off at the Revelwood Ancient Spire. If you’ve unlocked this spire, you’re already ahead of the game.

Teleport to the top of the Spire and make your way to the northwestern edge. From there, check your map to locate a small Shrouded area just to the northwest. Set a waypoint to keep yourself on course, then glide towards it. From the Spire, you can clearly see the new biome's landmark, located beyond the ancient bridge. However, to reach it, you'll need to navigate around since the passage under the bridge is blocked off by the developers as an early access zone, giving players only 10 seconds to exit if they venture too close.

Descend and fly around the mountain to reach the Cave Entrance. Follow the stone path ahead. If you head upward, you’ll discover the Glennwood’s End area; to the left of this location, there’s a descent into the Shroud. Continue down, sticking close to the rocky sides to avoid getting lost. At the northern edge of this Shrouded area, you'll spot the entrance to the Passage to the Blackmire. Follow this path into the core of the Blackmire, and you’ll eventually arrive at the Blackmire Ancient Spire.

Navigating the Passage
In the Passage to the Blackmire it’s relatively calm, but you’ll soon encounter boars and environmental hazards. Marvel at the huge root systems and bounce across trampolines until you hit your first bog.

This isn’t just any bog—it’s filled with bubbling tar and mud. Watch out for the large, lizard-like creatures that throw mud balls at you! Stick to long-range attacks to avoid getting stuck in the muck yourself.

As you make your way through, you’ll encounter floating purple flames that break into multiple projectiles. You can either dodge these or pick them off from a distance. Watch out for Vukah encampments, too; these guys are tough. Try to draw them out one at a time or sprint through if you’re low on health. Stay on the path, and you’ll make it to the Blackmire Ancient Spire in no time.
In the latest Enshrouded Back to the Shroud update, the Blackmire biome has undergone exciting reworks, addressing past player feedback to deliver an even more exhilarating experience. This revamped zone now features enhanced enemy encounters, refined terrain for smoother navigation, and newly discovered treasures that make exploration more rewarding.
