Seeds and Crafting

Seeds are the foundation of farming in 7 Days to Die. You can acquire seeds in several ways:

     - Crafting: You can craft seeds from crops. For example, crafting corn seeds requires five pieces of corn.

     - Looting: Seeds can be found in loot containers or seed packs. Seed packs can be obtained from various sources like airdrops or as quest rewards.

     - Trading: Traders often sell seeds, and some specialize in farming goods.

     - Seed Stage: Instantly after planting.

Take a seed from inventory and plant it on the farm plots by RBM clicking.

     - Growing Stage: After 63 minutes (or game time equivalent).

Wait until your seeds have grown enough to be harvested

     - Plant Stage: Ready for harvest after another 63 minutes.

For efficient harvesting, as it uses less stamina than punching.

Harvesting crops yields twice the amount you get from wild crops and gives a 50% chance of receiving seeds to replant.

     - Level 1 Living Off the Land: 40 corn and 5 seeds, 45 potatoes and 4 seeds.

     - Level 3 Living Off the Land: 65 corn and 7 seeds, 64 potatoes and 6 seeds.
