How to Activate Mysterious Portals in Soulmask

In Soulmask, there are two types of fast-travel nodes: Personal Teleporters and Mysterious Portals. Personal Teleporters can be placed anywhere by players but come with travel restrictions. On the other hand, Mysterious Portals are fixed points scattered across the map, offering reliable and unrestricted travel options once activated.

 

 

Mysterious Portal Locations

 

Mysterious Portals are scattered across Soulmask, with one in each biome. Activating these portals early on is a game-changer for efficient travel. Here’s where you can find all six:

 

 

Rainforest - Between the lake and estuary, this is usually the first portal you’ll unlock.

Wetlands - Located along the biome’s coast, near the cove and estuary.

Plateau - West of the Rainforest, near the lake and in the upper section of the biome.

Volcano - Southeast of the crater, near the cliff and close to the Rainforest.

Wastelands - Near the center of the biome, northeast of the connecting water body between the desert and Rainforest.

Snow Mountain - Easternmost part of the region, near the edge bordering the Wasteland.

 

Once these portals are unlocked, you can use them anytime by selecting your destination at any active portal.

 

How to Activate Mysterious Portals

 

 

To activate a Mysterious Portal, you need three green crystals. These crystals can be farmed from:

- Ancient Ruins - Found in chests.

- Barbarian Fortresses - Check the chests here.

- Ancient Ruins Dungeon - Also holds chests with crystals.

- Large Ancient Ruins - More chests to loot.

- Holy Ruins - Yet another source of crystal-bearing chests.

- Temple Guardians - These tough enemies have a 100% drop rate for green crystals.

 

 

Once you have the required crystals, head to the portal you wish to activate, and it will become part of your travel network. Remember, you need to activate both the departure and destination portals to use them for travel.
