Every Rifle in Palworld: Ten Weapons From 170 to 12,500 Attack

Palworld's rifle class spans technology 21 to 78 and 170 to 12,500 attack, and the numbers do not line up the way you would expect. The Charge Rifle at technology 65 has 39 times the per-shot attack of an Assault Rifle at technology 45 — because one fires a single charged beam and the other empties a magazine.
That is the rule for reading this whole table: Attack is per shot, not per second.
The Full Rifle Ladder

| Rifle | Tech | Common | Legendary | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Musket | 21 | 1,000 | 2,000 | x2.0 |
| Makeshift Assault Rifle | 31 | 170 | 297 | x1.75 |
| Single-Shot Rifle | 36 | 1,100 | 2,310 | x2.1 |
| Semi-Auto Rifle | 41 | 1,150 | 1,610 | x1.4 |
| Assault Rifle | 45 | 320 | 560 | x1.75 |
| Laser Rifle | 51 | 1,250 | 1,875 | x1.5 |
| Overheat Rifle | 64 | 1,225 | 1,470 | x1.2 |
| Charge Rifle | 65 | 12,500 | 15,000 | x1.2 |
| Heavy Assault Rifle | 70 | 1,615 | 1,938 | x1.2 |
| Plasma Rifle | 78 | 1,860 | 2,232 | x1.2 |
The automatics are the low numbers. The Makeshift Assault Rifle at 170 and the Assault Rifle at 320 look feeble beside a Musket's 1,000 — because they fire continuously and the musket does not. Do not read the column as a power ranking across firing modes.
Within a firing mode the column is honest. The Heavy Assault Rifle's 1,615 against the Assault Rifle's 320 is a genuine five-fold jump, and both are automatics.
The Charge Rifle is a category of one. At 12,500 Common it is the highest per-shot rifle in the game by a factor of six, and the description explains it: "Charges energy to deliver one powerful shot."
What Each One Is Built From
| Rifle | Materials |
|---|---|
| Musket | Early ingots — technology 21 |
| Makeshift Assault Rifle | Ingot, High Quality Pal Oil, Fiber |
| Single-Shot Rifle | Refined-tier materials |
| Assault Rifle | Refined Ingot 40, Polymer 10, Carbon Fiber 10 |
| Laser Rifle | Pal Metal Ingot 50, Plasteel 40, Bio Battery 5, Computer 3 |
| Overheat Rifle | Coralum-tier materials |
| Charge Rifle | Coralum Ingot 200, Bio Battery 25, Thermal Core 5, Computer 15 |
| Heavy Assault Rifle | Soralite-tier materials |
| Plasma Rifle | Paloxite and Ancient Civilization materials |
The Charge Rifle's 200 Coralum Ingot is the single largest ingot cost on the rifle list, which is the real gate on it rather than technology 65.
The Laser Rifle is the value pick of the middle game. At technology 51 it delivers 1,250 attack for 50 Pal Metal Ingot and 40 Plasteel — no Coralum, no Soralite, no AI Cores.
Where the Legendary Rolls Pay

The rifle class shows the game's rarity inversion clearly:
- Single-Shot Rifle — x2.1. From 1,100 to 2,310, a +1,210 swing at technology 36.
- Musket — x2.0. From 1,000 to 2,000, a +1,000 swing at technology 21.
- Heavy Assault Rifle — x1.2. From 1,615 to 1,938, a +323 swing at technology 70.
- Plasma Rifle — x1.2. From 1,860 to 2,232, a +372 swing at technology 78.
A Legendary Single-Shot Rifle out-damages a Legendary Heavy Assault Rifle per shot — 2,310 against 1,938 — despite arriving 34 technology levels earlier. The Heavy Assault Rifle wins on sustained fire, but the schematic is worth far more on the older gun.
Four of the last five rifles sit at exactly 1.2x, so from the Overheat Rifle onward, rarity stops being a reason to farm.
Which Rifle to Carry

- Technology 21–35: the Musket. 1,000 per shot while every automatic is under 350, and it scales at x2.0.
- Technology 36–50: the Single-Shot Rifle, or the Assault Rifle if you prefer sustained fire. The Single-Shot's x2.1 is the best rarity return in the class.
- Technology 51–63: the Laser Rifle. 1,250 attack on mid-tier materials, no rare cores required.
- Technology 64+: the Charge Rifle for burst, the Heavy Assault Rifle for sustained. They answer different questions — 12,500 per charged shot against continuous automatic fire.
- Technology 78: the Plasma Rifle at 1,860, if you have the Paloxite and Ancient Civilization Cores.
Match the ammunition, not just the gun. Each class draws on its own round, and the supply chain is a separate project — see Every Ammunition Type in Palworld 1.0.

Conclusion
Palworld's ten rifles run from the Musket at technology 21 to the Plasma Rifle at 78, and from 170 to 12,500 attack — but the column is per shot, not per second, which is why the automatic Assault Rifle's 320 sits below a Musket's 1,000. The Charge Rifle at 12,500 Common is the highest per-shot rifle in the game by six times, at the cost of 200 Coralum Ingot, while the Laser Rifle at technology 51 is the value pick — 1,250 attack on Pal Metal and Plasteel with no rare cores. On rarity, the class shows the game's inversion plainly: the Single-Shot Rifle scales x2.1 and the Musket x2.0, so a Legendary Single-Shot Rifle's 2,310 out-damages a Legendary Heavy Assault Rifle's 1,938 per shot despite arriving 34 technology levels earlier — while four of the last five rifles are stuck at x1.2.
