Enshrouded: How To Clear The Elixir Well

The Elixir Well in Enshrouded houses a dangerous source of Shroud that must be eradicated. This guide will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to successfully clear the Elixir Well, defeat the Fell Thunderbrute guarding it, and destroy the Shroud Root.

 

Reach the Elixir Well

 

   - Speak with Oswald Anders the Blacksmith at your base to initiate the quest.

   - Ensure you have essential supplies such as weapons, healing items, and food before embarking on the journey.

 

 

   - Glide down from the cliffs near your base to swiftly reach the Shrouded area north of your base.

 

 

   - Defeat enemies surrounding the stairs leading to the well's entrance.

 

 

Enter the Elixir Well

 

   - Descend into the pit near the Return Beacon and navigate through the grated pathway.

   - Proceed down the stairs until you reach the large chamber at the bottom.

   - Encounter the Fell Thunderbrute guarding the Shroud Root.

 

 

   - Utilize ranged weapons or explosive powder balls to deal significant damage.

   - Keep moving to avoid the Thunderbrute's attacks and maintain your health with food and healing potions.

 

 

Destroy the Shroud Root

 

   - Once the Fell Thunderbrute is defeated, focus on destroying the Shroud Root using your axe.

   - Be swift, as the Shroud timer may be running low.

 

 

   - Upon destruction, the Shroud in the area will dissipate, marking the completion of the quest.

 

Successfully clearing the Elixir Well in Enshrouded not only removes a significant source of Shroud but also rewards you with valuable loot, XP, and a new Skill Point. Don't forget to interact with Oswald and your Flame Altar upon returning home to unlock further quests and enhance your abilities.
