Palworld's elemental chests are the most lopsided loot tables in the game. Each one is built around a single organ that drops at over 80% in stacks of 10–20, a handful of element-matched Skill Fruits at around 2.5%, and — buried at the bottom — an Applied Handbook at 0.066%, which is one chest in roughly fifteen hundred.
How an Elemental Chest Is Built
Every elemental chest follows the same shape:

Dog Coin at 99.802% is effectively guaranteed — you will get 10 to 15 from essentially every elemental chest, which makes these a better Dog Coin source than the junkyards on a per-chest basis, though the junkyards are far easier to find.
The Organ Is the Point

The rates are not uniform, and table size alone does not explain them: Fire at 13 entries and Water at 15 entries both sit at 86.957%, while Electric at the same 15 entries sits at 82.645%. So the Electric chest is the weakest organ farm of the three by more than four percentage points, and it is not simply because its table is longer — the Water chest is exactly as long and rolls better.
Ten to twenty organs from one chest is a serious quantity. Organs are the input for ammunition, Pal gear and a long list of crafted items, and farming them off Pals means hunting the right element repeatedly. One elemental chest replaces a lot of that.
The Skill Fruits Are Element-Locked
Each chest's Skill Fruit slots are restricted to its own element, and the count varies:
Forest_ElectricTreasure — seven fruits at 2.479% each: Shockwave, Lightning Streak, Plasma Funnel, Spark Blast, Lock-on Laser, Electric Ball, Tri-Lightning.
Forest_FireTreasure — five fruits at 2.609% each: Ignis Blast, Ignis Breath, Flare Arrow, Spirit Fire, Flare Storm.
Each individual Fire fruit rolls slightly better than each individual Electric one — 2.609% against 2.479% — but the Electric chest carries two more of them. Multiply out and the Electric chest gives roughly a 17.4% chance of some Electric fruit against the Fire chest's 13.0%, so the wider selection wins on aggregate even though each fruit in it is individually rarer.
If you want a specific skill, the chest with fewer fruits is the better target, because your fruit is a larger share of a smaller pool.
The 0.066% Handbooks
At the very bottom of each table sit three Applied Handbooks at 0.066% each — the items that permanently raise a Pal's work suitability, and normally one of the hardest things in the game to obtain.
The handbooks are matched to the chest's element in spirit rather than strictly:

0.066% is one in roughly 1,515. Nobody should farm elemental chests for handbooks — three slots at that rate gives you about a 0.2% chance per chest of seeing any handbook at all. But it is worth knowing they are in the pool, because it means every elemental chest you open is a free lottery ticket on an item that otherwise gates your base's work ceiling.
The Electric chest's inclusion of Lumbering and Handiwork rather than only electrical work is the useful detail — these tables are not as narrowly themed as their headline item suggests.
