All 28 Disposable Implants in Palworld: The Passives You Cannot Buy

The Pal Surgery Table sells passive skills for gold — 10,000 for the entry tier, 50,000 for the better one. Above both sits a third category almost nobody documents: 28 Legendary Disposable Implants that are not for sale at all. Their effects dwarf the purchasable list. The 50,000-gold Ferocious gives Attack +20%; the Twin-Edged Holy Blade implant gives Attack +50%, and Demon's Hand gives Work Speed +90% — three times the best work passive you can buy.
What a Disposable Implant Is
Every one of the 28 carries the same description: "An implant embedded into a Pal's body to change its passive skill. When in inventory, allows you to select the corresponding passive skill at a Pal Surgery Table."
| How it works | Hold it in your inventory, and that passive appears as a selectable option at the Surgery Table |
| Rarity | Legendary — all 28 |
| Stack limit | 9,999 |
| Sell value | 10 Gold Coins |
That ten-gold sell value is a trap worth flagging. These are among the most powerful consumables in the game and they vendor for almost nothing, so a bulk-sell of junk will quietly destroy them. Check before you clear inventory.
They sit above both purchasable tiers. The Surgery Table's bought implants come from the Arena Merchant and the Bounty Merchant; the disposables do not appear in either shop. They are drops and rewards, and because they are spent permanently, they belong on a Pal you have already committed to — one you have condensed and intend to keep.
The Big Stat Implants

| Implant | Effect |
|---|---|
| Twin-Edged Holy Blade | Attack +50%, Defense −30% |
| Sanctified Meat Shield | Defense +50%, Attack −30% |
| God of Destruction | Attack +40% |
| Demon God | Attack +30% |
| Diamond Body | Defense +30%, immune to Flinch and Knockback |
| Legend | Attack +20%, Defense +20%, Movement Speed +20% |
| Lucky | Attack +15%, Defense +15% |
| Idiosyncratic | Auto Health Regeneration +50% (Pal and player), Defense +25%, immune to Poison |
| Heavily Armored | Immune to Explosion Damage |
Twin-Edged Holy Blade and Sanctified Meat Shield are mirror images, and both are the largest single-stat swings available: +50% at the cost of −30% in the other direction. On a Pal whose job is purely to deal damage, giving up 30% Defense is close to free — the same logic that makes the purchasable Musclehead (Attack +30% / Work Speed −50%) worth taking on a fighter.
Legend is the one with no downside at all. +20% to Attack, Defense and Movement Speed is modest per line but adds up, and there is nothing to weigh against it. For a Pal you are not sure how you will use, Legend is the safe pick.
Diamond Body's real value is not the +30% Defense. It is the Flinch and Knockback immunity — a Pal that cannot be staggered keeps attacking through everything a boss throws, which is worth far more in a long fight than the percentage suggests.
Heavily Armored is a situational answer to a specific problem. Human faction raiders — Syndicate, Free Pal Alliance and the rest — use explosives, and explosion immunity removes that threat entirely.
The Elemental Damage Pairs

Five implants raise elemental attack damage, and four of them cover two elements each:
| Implant | Elements |
|---|---|
| Eternal Flame | Fire +30%, Lightning +30% |
| Siren of the Void | Dark +30%, Ice +30% |
| Invader | Dark +30%, Dragon +30% |
| Savior | Neutral +30%, Grass +30% |
| Lunker | Water +20%, Ice +20%, Defense +20% |
These are more valuable than they look, because elemental damage multiplies rather than replaces. Hitting a weakness is already roughly 2× damage; a +30% element bonus lands on top of that, and on top of whatever a Baton or Pal Ring is already contributing.
Match the implant to the Pal's own element, not to your enemy's. These boost the damage your Pal deals in that element, so Eternal Flame belongs on a Fire or Electric Pal, not on the Pal you are sending against one.
Note the overlaps. Dark appears twice — in both Siren of the Void and Invader — and Ice appears twice, in Siren of the Void and Lunker. If you run a Dark Pal, either implant works; pick based on whether its partner element matters to you.
Lunker is the odd one out, trading a lower elemental figure for a +20% Defense line, which makes it the pick for a Water or Ice Pal that also needs to survive.
Base, Sustain and Mobility

| Implant | Effect |
|---|---|
| Demon's Hand | Work Speed +90% — at the cost of faster SAN loss |
| Remarkable Craftsmanship | Work Speed +75% |
| Immortality | Absorbs 100% of damage dealt and restores Health; Auto Health Regeneration +100%; Attack +15% |
| Vampiric | Absorbs 5% of damage dealt as Health; does not sleep at night and continues to work |
| Babysitter | At a base, +30% egg production speed and +30% incubation speed for Pals at a Breeding Farm |
| Remarkable / work set | Mastery of Fasting — hunger drops 20% slower; Heart of the Immovable King — SAN drops 20% slower |
| Hermit Sage | SAN depletion −50%, Work Speed −20% |
| World Tree's Bounty | Hunger depletion −50%, HP −20% |
| Swift | +30% movement speed |
| Dimensional Leap | +50% movement speed, increased hunger depletion |
| King of the Waves | +50% movement speed on water |
| Sky Strider | Mounted Jump Count +2 |
| Eternal Engine | Max stamina +75% — rideable Pals only |
Immortality is the strongest implant in the game. Absorbing 100% of damage dealt as healing means a Pal that is attacking is also fully healing itself, and it comes with +100% regeneration and +15% Attack on top, with nothing given up. If you find one, it goes on your main combat Pal.
Demon's Hand at +90% Work Speed is nearly twice Remarkable Craftsmanship's +75%, and roughly three times the purchasable Serious (+20%). The SAN cost is real, but SAN is the meter you can fix with infrastructure — a Hot Spring and the Alpha Wave Generator both push back on it. Pair Demon's Hand with Heart of the Immovable King on different workers and the base absorbs the trade.
Vampiric quietly contains Insomnia. "Does not sleep at night and continues to work" is the entire effect of the 10,000-gold Insomnia implant, and Vampiric adds 5% lifesteal on top — so it is a strictly better base-worker passive that also functions in combat.
Babysitter is the only implant that touches breeding. +30% to both egg production and incubation compounds across a breeding project, which is exactly the kind of long unattended process a base is for.
Sky Strider and Eternal Engine are mount implants. +2 mounted jumps and +75% max stamina change how far a single ride goes — worth putting on the flyer you actually travel on rather than one you fight with.
Practical tips
- Hold the implant in your inventory, then select that passive at the Pal Surgery Table.
- They sell for 10 Gold. Never bulk-sell your inventory without checking.
- Immortality is the best one — 100% of damage dealt returned as healing, plus +15% Attack.
- Twin-Edged Holy Blade is +50% Attack for −30% Defense — near-free on a dedicated fighter.
- Demon's Hand is +90% Work Speed, three times the best passive you can buy for gold.
- The four elemental pairs give +30% to two elements each — put them on a Pal of that element.
Running your own Palworld 1.0 server
Disposable implants are permanent decisions on Pals you have already invested in — condensed, trusted, awakened. That whole chain runs on time rather than skill, which is what a persistent world gives you: on a dedicated Palworld 1.0 server your Breeding Farm keeps producing eggs and your base keeps working while nobody is online, so the Pal you eventually spend a Legendary implant on is one you actually finished. Full crossplay lets a group share the hunt, and one-click backups protect the result.
Conclusion
Palworld has 28 Disposable Implants, all Legendary, all working the same way — hold one in your inventory and that passive becomes selectable at the Pal Surgery Table. They sit above both purchasable tiers and the gap is large: the 50,000-gold Ferocious gives Attack +20%, while Twin-Edged Holy Blade gives +50% (for −30% Defense) and God of Destruction gives +40%. Immortality is the standout — 100% of damage dealt returned as healing, +100% regeneration and +15% Attack with no downside. For base work, Demon's Hand (+90% Work Speed) and Remarkable Craftsmanship (+75%) are three to four times anything you can buy, and Vampiric contains the whole of the 10,000-gold Insomnia passive plus lifesteal. Four implants each grant +30% to two elements, which stacks on the roughly 2× matchup multiplier. They vendor for 10 Gold Coins, so check your inventory before you sell.
